The RAM 1500 has a large passenger space and incredibly functional cubby storage. The higher trims of this vehicle seem more like a luxury vehicle than a pickup truck. This is because of the addition of creature comforts and posh materials.
The most expensive variants have authentic wood accents and premium leather surfaces. Most models have luxury options like heated and ventilated seats and a panoramic sunroof.
The RAM 1500 crew cab has a large space. Additionally, it boasts an unusual split-folding tailgate and a ton of internal storage. The extended cab body design is available with the six-foot-four-inch cargo bed. The RAM 1500 is not available with a standard cab.
RAM 1500 models with a Quad Cab come with a 76-inch-long cargo bed. Crew Cab models can have the same or a 67-inch bed. The HFE, Rebel, and TRX models are unavailable with the longer bed/Crew Cab combo.
You can find lockable storage spaces on each side of the beds. Optional features include adjustable tie-down hooks, a bed step that folds out, and a bed liner you spray on.
The 2023 RAM 1500 generally has the appearance of a full-size truck. Customers can have exterior components in either black or the body’s main color.

The RAM 1500 can be bought with a V-6 or V-8 gas-powered engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. A 48-volt electric motor supports both engines. Also available is a 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 that comes without electric assistance.
There’s also a diesel-powered engine, but RAM plans to discontinue it by January 2023. Until then, the 1500 Tradesman, Big Horn, Lone Star, Laramie, Limited Longhorn, and Limited trims will have a 260-horsepower diesel V-6 engine.
You should choose the Rebel trim if you want a vehicle with true off-road prowess. Every RAM 1500 has a great ride because it doesn’t use leaf springs like most trucks. Instead, it has either coil springs or air springs.
Moreover, you can adjust the ride height of some RAM 1500 models to improve off-road performance and fuel efficiency.
